Lana Del Rey…it seems she’s the woman at the moment although she frustrates me immensely. The problem I have is that I adore her recording voice but absolutely cringe whilst watching her live. Her performance (vocally) is just plain weak. I watched her on Jools Holland and Jonathan Ross recently and both times I tried really, really hard to like her live performances. In the end I just had to give in. LANA YOUR A BABE AND YOUR SONGS ARE BEAUTIFUL but you can’t sing live :(
Amsterdam 2012.
Last Sunday my sister and I were hanging out at home watching TV when the Easy Jet January Sale advert came on. My brother had already informed us that they had some pretty good deals on flights so naturally we decided to take a look. Just out of curiosity we typed in a return flight from Liverpool to Amsterdam and to our surprise it came back as £38 per person…..BARGAIN. Within minutes we got in touch with some of our friends and two hours later we had booked a flight for 6 of us girls to head to Amsterdam on 20th February for a four day break. We are staying in a hostel in a private 6 bed suite at the end of the Red Light District right in the middle of the city centre. I think it’s safe to say i’m a little terrified at how messy this is going to be but at the same time it’s going to be one i’m never going to forget. Excitement is an understatement right now. ROLL ON 6 WEEKS!!
